Day 2 on the road was a pensive one. Not a lot to look at on these southern highways. So the day was spent avoiding the occasional speeding 16 wheeler and thinking about the events that lie ahead. As we traveled mile by mile leading to the final destination of WrestleMania weekend I find the optimism has started creeping in.
Maybe I’m a mark, maybe I’m getting caught up in all the hype or maybe every day away from work makes EVERYTHING seem just a bit better or maybe I’ve been a little too critical.
Hall of Fame Best Tag Team EVER…period. The God-Father of “HARD CORE” and possibly the greatest in ring performer ever all part of the class of 2011. Could be a very good night. Drew Carey takes away from that but maybe I can look past that maybe WE can look past that.
As far as the event every, and I mean EVERY match has a tremendous upside. Do they live up to the potential? That is the question.
Tomorrow I will arrive in Atlanta and be swept up with the streets being filled with people wearing Championship belts to lunch, attire such as sequined robes and spiked shoulder pads and choruses yelling WOOOOO in hotel lobbies and this will be the norm. For a three day period in Atlanta wrestling fans will not have to defend BEING wrestling fans we can just BE. Will the WWE Bring it as well?
